RegOwnershipEx: Take ownership of registry keys easily

You may be aware of our freeware RegOwnitthat lets you take full control of Windows registry keys easily.RegOwnershipEx is another free utility that lets you explore the registry keys and take ownership. This process can alsobe done from Windows, itself but it is a bit of a hassle doing it manually. RegOwnershipEx can do this task in just seconds. The software is available in portable version only and includes different files for Windows 8 and Windows 7 OS.
The Windows Registry is a hierarchical database that stores configuration settings and options on Microsoft Windows operating systems. Unfortunately, some of the parts of registry are not easily accessible, because we don’t have certain privileges to edit the registry keys. In such cases, in order to edit such registry keys, you need to take ownership of the registry keys, so that you can modify and change them as per your needs.
Note: Before making changes to your system, it is recommended to back up the registry else create a system restore point so that you can restore your PC if anything goes wrong.
As I already mentioned, that RegOwnershipEx lets you browse the Registry Keys. The tree-viewed browser window lets you look into registry keys without any problems. Additionally you can also bookmark a registry key so that if you need the same key again, you don’t need to waste time on that. You can bookmark as many keys you want.
