Microsoft has finally released the latest version of Office i.e. Office 2013. This newest member of Office family has been optimized for touch devices and it also is compatible with Windows 8. Office 2013 includes many new and awesome features like the cloud sync which makes your files available everywhere whether you are at your home, office or on the move and many more.
Office 2013 is available in different packages and each one include different features and have different prices. Office 2013 is available in the following packages:
- Yearly subscription: The annual subscription of Office 365 costs $99.99 which includes upto 5 install on PC’s and Mac’s and Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access and Publisher are included. This bundle also includes 20GB of additional storage for SkyDrive and 60 Skype minutes monthly.
- Monthly subscription: The monthly subscription of Office 365 includes the same items like the above yearly bundle but, you will be able to pay $9.99 per month.
- Standalone bundle (basic): You can also get the Office 2013 as a separate software without any subscription but, you will get only Word, Excel, PowerPoint and One Note. All four of these apps will cost you $139.99
- Standalone bundle (professional): You can get the professional version of Office 2013 as a stand alone package with all the apps which can be found in the Office 365 but, it will cost you $399.99
The most interesting yet, good move by Microsoft is that you won’t be able to get the DVD of Office 2013 anymore if, you are in the advanced countries like US, UK and Europe but, some advancing countries will still get the DVD’s. Microsoft will provide online downloads for Office 2013 and the boxes will just include the product key’s.
