The Skype team over at Microsoft has just released a new update for the Skype app for Windows 8/RT which brings the HD video calling support. The update also brings the improved video messaging support to Windows 8 which was launched last month.
The official Skype Blog mentions that the Skype app for Windows 8/RT now supports upto 720p videos to be sent and receive upto 1080p videos while calling from the app. The video messaging feature is still in preview but, the team has made some more improvements in the video messaging feature.
