Images Sony’s Motion Shot app launches for the Xperia Z1

Sony recently launched a new application for the Xperia Z1 called Motion Shot. As the name suggests the app allows you to capture the movement of a short movie so that it appears as a continuous picture. As the example shots below show, the app works best when trying to capture the movement of a sport, child, pet or any kind of moving object.

The app also includes a number of effects such as fade-in/fade-out and allows you to set the number of animation sequences. Images can then be saved (JPEG/GIF) and shared to a social network or uploaded to a cloud storage of choice. For further details on how to use the app click here.
