STEP 1
Tap the "Apps" button on the launcher home screen to open your apps drawer.

Scroll to and tap "Email" to open the Email app.
STEP 3
Tap the "Menu" button, then tap "Settings."

Tap "Add Account" to open the email account configuration.
STEP 5
Enter your full Microsoft Student email address into the "Email Address" field. Generally your email address is formatted as "yourusername@live.yourcollege.edu" -- without quotes. Contact your school's network administrator if you need help with your Microsoft Live@edu email address and password.

Enter the password associated with your email account into the "Password" field, then tap "Next."
STEP 7
Tap the "Exchange" button.
STEP 8
Enter your Microsoft Student Exchange server name into the "Server" field, and your domain into the "Domain" field (if required). Contact your school's network administrator for more information.

Check the box next to "Use Secure Connection (SSL)."
STEP 10
Check the box next to "Send Email from this Account by Default" to send email from your Microsoft live@edu account by default, then tap "Next."
STEP 11
Tap the "Period to Sync" drop-down menu, then choose a desired time period for syncing your data.

Tap "Next," then enter an optional name for the account in the "Give This Account a Name (Optional)" field.
STEP 14
Tap "Done" to complete the configuration process. Your Microsoft Student Exchange email account will now be accessible through your Android's Email app.
TIP
To manage or delete your Exchange account, open "Settings," then tap the name of your Exchange account under the "Accounts" section.
- Contact your school's network administrator if you are having problems adding an account or to inquire about specific server, port , domain or account information.
