Another build of Microsoft’s upcoming update for Windows 8, Windows 8.1 aka Windows Blue has leaked onto the web. The most recent leak is of the build 9379 of Windows 8.1 and it has also been labeled as Windows 8.1 Pro Preview which means that the final yet official preview version of Windows 8.1 would be called the Windows 8.1 Pro Preview.

This leak would be the fourth one to be available for download on the web whereas, previously we have seen the build 93649369 and 9374 which started leaking a couple of weeks ago and the most recent one was made few days ago. This newly leaked build 9379 was compiled by Microsoft about 12 days ago but, it is expected to include some more features. Currently, only the screenshots are available but, the build itself can’t be found anywhere for download.

Windows 8.1 is suggested to be an update for current Windows 8 which would include many new features and improvements like some new pre-installed appsmore tile sizes, better Share Charms, snap support for lower screen resolutions and many more. The option to boot directly to an app would also be included in Windows 8.1.
Windows 8.1 would be released for public as a preview in June during the Build 2013 conference and the final version of Windows 8.1 is expected in the third quarter of 2013.
As usual, we won’t recommend downloading these kinds of leaked builds because, they can be unstable and result in the crash of your PC.
