Although I am not a fan of cosplaying other OSs, I think the Android style launcher is just fine and has its unique attributes. I still find it interesting to try out some of these apps that attempt to give you the experience of a totally different platform. The one I am introducing today is called Launcher 8. If you've heard of Launcher 7, I don't think they are related in anyway, it is by a different developer.
This app contains a launcher, a lock screen, a status bar, as well as a few live tiles you’ll find in a real WP8 phone. The lock screen works most of the time, although you might still see your Android lock screen occasionally. You can pick your own wallpapers but the image cropper is a little bugged and should you crop anything with it, the quality is not acceptable. You really need to make sure your images are exactly the same size as your screen for this to work.
The status bar which is enabled in the settings still works and can be sustained even when running other apps. Except your default one will pop up here and there for half a second and you won’t be able to use your notification center anymore.
