Despite major companies, most recently Apple, trying to stake a claim in the mobile radio market, Pandora still holds the title as top dog. With this new competition, however, Pandora surely realizes that this could all change in time. Today the service updates their iOS application with a number of enhancements and new feature. The biggest news this update brings with it is a new auto-pause feature. For whatever reason, if your device is switched to mute Pandora will automatically pause the content playing. Pandora also boats of improving playback buffering when you're stuck with a slow connection. The official change log reads:
Stuck with a flaky connection? We've improved playback buffering to keep your favorite music stutter-free
Never miss another great song: if you mute your phone, we'll pause your music for you.
