State owned telco Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has revised its SMS pack portfolio in Tamilnadu and Chennai circle. Earlier BSNL and most operators had revised SMS packs – no volume based plans, rather discounted SMS rates were applicable. However following TRAI came out with new SMS termination charges 2 paisa per SMS, BSNL Chennai and Tamilnadu has decided to revise its SMS offerings.
Details of the SMS STVs:
STV 19: 650 SMS to any network (local/national/roaming) for 7 days.
Earlier STV19 was offering only 190 SMS. To activate this plan over SMS, send SMS19 to 53733, and Rs 16.91 will be deducted.
