We know that the update for Windows 8, Windows 8.1 would also include the finger print login feature which would let you sign-in to your PC by scanning your finger against a finger print reader. Now, Microsoft has demoed the finger print login feature of Windows 8.1.

Microsoft showed us many of the features of Windows 8.1 during the TechEd conference including the Start Buttonand the finger print login features.
The finger print login feature of Windows 8.1 would let you login to Windows 8 by just scanning your finger against the finger print scanner provided on your tablet or as an external hardware device. The login would be immediate and the Windows 8.1 will also recognize your finger and select the right user account to login to.
You would also be able to use finger print lock feature in the apps as a security feature and you would be able to protect personal information with your finger print scans. Finger Print scans can also be used to protect individual folders.
