Everyone likes to stay connected so whether we are the common public or high profile celebs. Today we can see many of our stars and celebs on social media like Twitter and Facebook, find the actual profile of whom can be difficult as there are so many fake profiles of the celebs too. So wouldn't it be great if there is some sort of authentication that helps the user to identify the original profile and page of a star?
Well, now you can add your favorite celeb or a business person or “like” its official page on Facebook too. Just like Twitter, Facebook has started rolling out this new feature which lets the profiles and pages celebs and other high profile users to be distinguished with a small blue colored tick mark.
So it simply means, if you are to follow your favorite star and like his/her page then when you search the profile or the page, you will see a small blue check mark only on their genuine profiles and pages.
According to Facebook, “Today we’re launching verified Pages to help people find the authentic accounts of celebrities and other high-profile people and businesses on Facebook. Verified Pages have a small, blue check mark beside their name on timelines, in search results, and elsewhere on Facebook”
Now these celebs can be a small group of prominent public figures like celebrities, journalists, government officials, popular brands and businesses personnel having large audiences. The update is not only to their pages but also to their individual profiles as well.
Finding the genuine profile of your favorite star is not at all difficult now.
